Dear parents and guardians,
As mentioned in the previous communications, due to the current circumstances, including the all-remote start of the upcoming school year, and the inability of the PTA to organize in-person community building events, we are moving our “operation” online. To enable us to do this effectively and inclusively, we have decided to shift our PTA work to online platform MemberHub, provided to us by the Nation and State PTA.
Buzz Aldrin Middle School PTA hopes to use MemberHub to bring you into our school community and keep you informed and engaged with what is happening. Within our MemberHub site, you will find newsletters, signup sheets, shared calendar events, files, reminders, you can communicate directly with other parents in your hubs, and much more all in one place!
If you are a recent and current PTA member, you probably already have your log-in. Please feel free to log in, and review your online profile, as well as join the hubs that correspond to your child(ren)’s enrollment (House and Grade. We will allocate Home Room hubs as the information becomes available from Dr. Sack):
If you are new to Buzz Aldrin Middle School, and the MemberHub, please click here and enter the required information. Please note, email or phone number information is NOT required for the students/children. Also, please note, Buzz Aldrin PTA will never text you, unless that is your preferred mode of communication.
Your information will be stored securely and privately. Once you’ve joined, you will have access to various hubs that are important and specific to you and your family. You will be able manage your profile, your family, communication preferences, and download the MemberHub iPhone or Android app, if you choose to do so.
To kick the 2020-21 school year off, we will have two (2) Zoom calls:
1) Monday, August 24, for the incoming 7th grade parents:
2) Wednesday, August 26, for the incoming 8th graders:
The 6th grade virtual Ice Cream Socials will be announced once we have confirmed the dates and staff attendance with Dr. Sack.
We are looking forward to seeing you all and making this new “normal” the best experience for our school community as it can be, under the circumstances. Thank you all for being tireless advocated for all our children.
