Dear C.H.B. Community,
We hope you have had some time to get out in the snow this week. There’s more on its way this weekend, we hear.
Thank you, Principal Ms. Kuwabara and Ms. Coe, for answering all of our questions via Zoom this Wednesday. Thank you for the great turnout and to all of the staff members and teachers who also attended. We will set up an ongoing F.A.Q. Page on our website to highlight topics you often enquire information about.
Thank you to B.A.R.E.T. (aka Bullock Anti-Racism Equity Team) for all of the valuable and important resources this week.
Next week will be busy with a P.T.A. meeting, Family Fun Dance via Zoom, and a special event with Ms. Comeau and Sassy Cat!
We hope you will enjoy the snow this weekend.

Family Fun Dance has gone VIRTUAL!
Get your music request ready!
Join us Saturday, February 13th at 7 p.m. via zoom and make it a family dance party. Dress up or dress down, log in, and get ready to dance to DJ Migz.
GLOW STICKS (Wuhu!:) will be available via your class parents starting Tuesday, February 9th. Look out for an email for when and where to pick up.
Join us for an hour of fun! Use what you already have at home or can easily get at the grocery store. Prior to the event prepare a roomy workspace, cover it with newspaper or paper bags, and gather your supplies. Dress up if you feel like it! Let your stuffies come watch! Wear a costume, a crown, or valentine colors – red, white, pink, silver or gold. Sassy Cat and Ms. Comeau will have fancy hats.
Use what you already have; check your closets and your cardboard recycling bin!
Construction paper, scrapbook paper, wrapping paper (cut to a manageable size before the event)
Cardboard from cereal boxes and/or frozen food boxes (white inside is optimal)
Pencil, scissors, drawing and coloring tools
Glue stick or tacky glue is the best, but Elmers or tape will work also.
Other things leftover from crafting…. pom poms, glitter glue, foam shapes, stickers, ribbon, paper doilies, fancy edge cutting scissors, washi tape, gems and sequins, buttons, pipe cleaners, etc.
Ms. Comeau & Sassy Cat look forward to seeing you all!
