December 21, 2022…we made it to winter break! Thank you to everyone who donated and helped sort holiday gifts for our community. Wishing you a happy holiday season and a happy new year!

PTA/District Calendar: Upcoming Events

December 23: Start of winter break/early dismissal and cookie drop-off for staff cookie banquet
January 3: School resumes
January 6: After School Enrichment Registration begins
January 16: MLK Day ON- family day at CHB-including live performances, crafts, and service/learning opportunities- to help plan the event email us
January 18 at 8pm: PTA General Meeting, all are welcome
February 11 at 6pm: Family Fun Dance!

There’s still time to contribute to the PTA Cookie Banquet for CHB staff.

How does it work? Sign up to make or buy cookies. Drop the cookies off on Dec 23 (directions at the link). (An alternate drop off is available at a private home on the evening of Dec 22.)

On that Friday, teachers and staff will be able to fill a box with their favorite cookies, grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy the holiday cheer.

Message from the Bullock PTA After-School Enrichment (ASE) Committee

We will hold a 10-week after-school enrichment (ASE) program this winter at Bullock for children in all grades. Families can register their children for classes (which meet weekly, right at the end of the school day) on topics such as theater, sports, robotics, dance, and more! You can view the course list here.

ASE will run from January 23rd through March 28th (once a week on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday from 3:25 to 4:25 PM, on days when school is in session for a full day, with make-up classes held during the week of April 10th).

Registration opens on Friday, January 6th at 8:00 PM via the online platform Homeroom and runs through Tuesday, January 10th at 11:59 PM. If you do not already have a Homeroom account, you can register here: https://www.homeroom.com/. This session we are offering 18 classes per week (6 classes per day) and classes will fill up quickly!
