The Hillside Explorers Program is an after-school enrichment program that is organized and run by the PTA. The mission of Explorers is to give students an exciting opportunity to learn outside of the classroom; to try new activities and experiences, to further our Magnet theme to help students find their talents and activities they enjoy the most.
Hillside Explorers Registration Information
The Hillside Explorer PTA volunteers have put together an in-person program for the winter session. We cannot foresee every eventuality in this new world so we are asking for patience and flexibility as we navigate bringing the program back to in-person sessions.
Classes will run from April 25th-June 14th. All classes will run from 3:50pm – 4:50pm.

- Registration opens Thursday, 3/31 @ 8:00 p.m.
- Registration closes Thursday, 4/7 @ 8:00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: Classes will show as SOLD OUT on the registration page until registration officially opens. When registration opens, all classes will become available.
***SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION: Hillside is able to offer a limited number of scholarship spots in classes. Priority will be based on when requests are received. To request a scholarship, send an email to EXPLORERSHILLSIDE@gmail.com the following information:
1) Your child’s first and last name, grade and homeroom teacher
2) Top 3 class choices
3) Any allergies (if requesting a cooking class)
4) Does your child go to aftercare? Y/N
5) Parent/Guardian contact information – name(s) and phone number(s)
Confirmations for approved classes will be sent by email. ***SCHOLARSHIP REQUESTS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN MONDAY, 3/31***
DONATION INFORMATION: PLEASE consider making a donation to our scholarship program so we can ensure that students who want to take an Explorers class are able to do so. Thank you!!!
