PTA Announcements:

MHS Campus Beautification Day: The PTA is sponsoring a campus “clean and dream” event on Saturday, April 27 from 10 am to 2 pm. Join us to clean up our outside campus, and join in discussions for reimagining unused spaces around MHS. Adults and students are both welcome – and students can receive service hours for their participation. Sign up here to join in the fun! Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Junior Prom is April 25th 7-11 pm – and tickets are now ON SALE.

Tickets will be on sale THIS WEEK ONLY.

From the school: Spring has Sprung and so it MUST BE time for the JUNIOR PROM, which will take place on 4/25.  Tickets will be on sale after spring break after school in ROOM 507 on 4/19.  YOU MUST FILL OUT A CODE OF CONDUCT in order to be able to purchase a ticket.  IF YOU ARE bringing a non-MHS guest there is a separate CODE OF CONDUCT for them to fill out.  IF YOU ARE bringing an underclassman, they must also sign a code of conduct.  All versions of these will be available on the Class of 2025 google classroom after spring break. Save the Date: Fun Friday and Summer Job Fair

The PTA will host a Fun Friday on May 3 right after school with a Summer Job Match for students and companies and organizations who are looking for summer staff. Please fill out this form if you have a or know of a company or organization who would like to participate.

In Case You Missed It! (ICYMI) It’s a busy week!

• Marking Period 3 assignments will end on this Thursday, April 18, with the MP3 report card coming out one week later.
• Community Service Forms for MHS Service Award Pins are due by Friday, April 19. More info and the service nomination form can be found here.
• The Office of School Counseling has sent several important updates this week. Please review your email for:
  • Important AP information for upcoming May exams (for students in AP classes). If your student is taking AP exams, they should have received an email with the exact dates and times of their exam(s).
  • 3/27 email with the School Testing Calendar for upcoming spring state testing on May 21 for grades 9 and 11.
  • 3/26 email titled Important! Scheduling Updates 2024-25 School Year! which outlines the scheduling process and the schedule change window of April 29 – May 6 as the FINAL opportunity to make schedule changes.
• Upcoming dates for spring events have been announced:
  • Junior Prom will be held on Thursday, April 25.
  • Senior Prom will be held on Tuesday, May 28
  • Freshman/Sophomore Spring Dance will be held on Friday, June 7.

Project Graduation Trivia Night: Come out and support PG Trivia Night: Friday April 19, 2024, 7pm to 11pm at 18 Label St.

Class of 2026 clothing donation drive: Sunday, April 28th. Clean out your closets over Spring Break and donate them to the sophomore class drive!

College Essay Workshop: There will be a College Essay Workshop the evening of May 22nd at MHS for 10th and 11th grade caregivers and students.

Join the PTA! We would love to have you join us — parents, teachers/staff, students, and community members are all welcome! There will be lots of opportunities for events, volunteer work, and service to our community. Have ideas?
