MHS VOLUNTEER FAIR 2024

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18, 1:45-3:45 pm in the MHS Main Cafeteria

Do you work for a local nonprofit organization and need volunteers? Then sign up your organization to participate in this year’s Volunteer Fair!

The goal of the MHS Volunteer Fair is to provide a way for students to learn about and meet with representatives of local nonprofit organizations looking for volunteers. The students often seek volunteer hours, many for National Honor Society membership, and opportunities to volunteer during the end of their senior year through the CIP (senior option) placement program. The CIP session runs every weekday for 5 weeks beginning in late May, 2025.

HOMECOMING 2024 / HOCO CARNIVAL

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26, 7:00 – 10:00pm

Homecoming 2024 is coming up and tickets will be available for purchase starting October 7th. This year’s Homecoming Dance theme is Hoco Carnival!

The dance will take place on Saturday, October 26th, from 7 pm to 10 pm and is open to MHS students in grades 10, 11, and 12 only. Tickets will be on sale from October 7th through October 24th. The price of the tickets is $15 until October 22nd, and then it will increase to $18 after that. If the cost is an issue, students can reach out to Mr. Freeman for tickets at no cost.

Please note that tickets will not be available for purchase at the door, so make sure to get yours in advance!
