UPCOMING EVENTS / IT’S SPIRIT WEEK!

Wednesday, October 23: 

  • Early dismissal day (1:07pm) for Parent/Teacher conferences
  • Scheduled MHS PTA Meeting @ 7:00pm is postponed for tonight due to parent/teacher conferences (new date TBD)

Thursday, October 24:

  • Early dismissal day (1:07pm) for Parent/Teacher (PT) conferences

Friday, October 25:

  • Homecoming Pep Rally at 1:20 pm

Saturday, October 26:

  • ACT in the morning for any students taking the exam.
  • HOMECOMING! Senior Day festivities and recognition at the game starts early – spectators should be there before 1:00 pm to cheer on our football, cheer, and band seniors, game kickoff at 2:00 pm.
    Homecoming Dance starts at 7 pm!
  • MHS Homecoming Dance, 7:00 – 10:00pm

October 30:

  • “Dig Pink” MHS Girls Volleyball Fundraiser, 4:00-7:00pm, MHS Main Gym

November 15:

  • Freshman Movie Night, 7:00 – 10:00pm, MHS Main Gym

LAST CHANCE! Homecoming tickets are on sale for $18 until tomorrow.
It’s going to be a fantastic evening with delicious food, fun games, airbrush tattoos, two DJs, and more! Purchase tickets today for your 10, 11, or 12th grader! When purchasing a ticket, make sure you add your student’s name to the Buyer detail fields along personal email address (not your student’s mpsdnj.us email).
Please note that tickets will not be available for purchase at the door, so make sure to order your student’s tickets.
Parents!! We need you to help volunteer to create a fantastic experience for our students – please sign up for a shift or two on SignUp Genius.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL FUNDRAISER / DIG PINK

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30, 4:00 – 7:00pm in MHS Main Gym

Join the MHS Girls Volleyball team in the rally against breast cancer! This year’s ally in the fight will be the Ridgers of Glen Ridge High School. The towns’ recreation teams will also participate. Match times are 4:00/5:15/5:45 & 7:00 pm.
Admission $5 for Adults and $3 Students/Children. Complimentary admission with the purchase of a “Pink Out” T-shirt and a chance to win great prizes donated by our local vendors. All proceeds from the event go to the Sideout Foundation for Stage IV breast cancer research. If unable to attend, please kindly donate to the link below.

FRESHMAN MOVIE NIGHT

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15 AT 7:00 PM IN MHS GYMNASIUM

 

MHS PTA is hosting a FREE movie night for ALL 9th graders on Friday, November 15th. No tickets needed. Doors will open at 6:30 PM and the movie will start at 7:00 PM. The movie will be in the Gymnasium in the MAIN BUILDING. Popcorn, candy and drinks will be available until they run out.

We still need some parent volunteers for this event! Please email ptavp2028@mhs-pta.org if you can volunteer between 6-8 pm or 8-10 pm on November 15th.
