LET’S BAND TOGETHER / MHS BAND

The Montclair High School band program has a long and rich tradition of cheering on our sports teams and amplifying school spirit with music! Unfortunately, enrollment in instrumental music programs fell during the pandemic when students weren’t able to practice and play together. But with the help of enthusiastic students, teachers and community supporters, the band is rebuilding!
Montclair has a talented, energetic group of 35 young musicians who are taking the Mighty Mounties Marching Band back to the field! These students are working hard at practice and performances multiple days per week, but they need new uniforms, instruments, instrument repair, field equipment, and music. In the future, they’d love to extend from football into basketball season as a pep band, perform at spring competitions, and potentially build out a color guard. Help the Mighty Mounties Marching Band build community and make music. Donate today!

2024-2025 GOVERNOR’S EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR PROGRAM

Do you know a classroom teacher or educational services professional who is dedicated, inspiring, and making a difference? If so, please take the time to recommend this person for the Governor’s Educator of the Year Program by completing the nomination form and returning it to Mr. Freeman by November 24, 2024.  Please feel free to contact Mr. Freeman with any questions.
