CLASS OF 2026 / UPCOMING FUNDRAISERS

The Class of 2026 is hosting two upcoming fundraisers – we hope you can participate and support the MHS junior class!

Chipotle Fundraiser Saturday, March 1 at the West Orange Chipotle from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Show the attached flyer when you pick up some delicious Chipotle to help the Junior Class fundraise for prom! You can also use the code: H3RVHP3 if you are ordering ahead of time on the Chipotle App. Please note – this code is not valid on outside delivery apps.

Dine & Donate Fundraiser on March 6 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at PLAYA BOWLS in Montclair. Show the attached flyer when you go to Playa Bowls for 10% of your purchase to be donated to the Junior Class to help fundraise for prom! This promotion does not work with outside delivery apps.

TICKETS ON SALE! / PARENTS NIGHT OUT AT PORTA! FUNDRAISER

The Montclair High School PTA invites you to Parents Night Out at Porta! fundraiser on Friday, March 28, from 7:00 – 10:00pm. We will start the night with karaoke and end with an ultimate dance party!

This fun and festive fundraising event will help support MHS PTA’s important work and initiatives aimed at enriching our school community. We have set a $10,000 fundraising goal to support campus beautification and MHS Social Events, creation of Mountie Radio, and a refresh of the Teachers’ lounge.

Purchase your tickets via Zeffy for $75/person. If you cannot join us on March 28, you can also make a donation via Zeffy to help us reach our $10,000 goal.

We are also seeking silent auction in-kind donations and/or sponsorship from our community and local businesses.

For the online silent auction, we are looking for fun activities and experiences or parents and our high schoolers! Do you have tickets to a sports event, Broadway show, or a private, behind the scenes tour of a local business or facility? Or do you (or one of your family members or friend) have special talent or skill you can offer as your donation experience to teach someone for a special experience auction item, such as cooking, photography, design, babysitting, dance, pet sitting, organization, etc.? By contributing, you’re not just donating to a this cause—you’re investing in the future of ALL of Montclair’s students. MHS FUNDRAISERS!

• Support the Boys Volleyball Team! Visit their online store and purchase a team t-shirt, sweatshirt or hoodie – their gear will look great on you! Go Mounties!
• MHS Band/Chamber Ensemble & Concert Band are fundraising to raise $40,000 to replace broken instruments that are over 40-60 year old. Please make your donation via Venmo (@mhsinstrumental).
• Montclair has a talented, energetic group of 35 young musicians who are taking the Mighty Mounties Marching Band back to the field! These students are working hard at practice and performances multiple days per week, but they need new uniforms, instruments, instrument repair, field equipment, and music. Help the Mighty Mounties Marching Band build community and make music. Donate today!

Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships, 6:30pm – 7:30pm in the Main Library auditorium. Join our friends from SOFIA as we talk about healthy and unhealthy relationships and how we can recognize the signs of both.

MARCH 19:

College Essays Simplified, 6 – 6:30pm
Join us for a presentation about the importance of essays in the admissions process — you’ll discuss writing strategies and learn what colleges are looking for. There will be ten minutes for a Q+A session following the presentation. Registration required

MFEE ANNUAL APPEAL / SCHOOL LOTTERY

The MFEE School Lottery is Back: Win $1,000 for Your School
Now, through February 28, when you donate $25 and above to the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), you’ll be entered in a lottery to award a $1,000 educational grant to your favorite school. Two separate $1,000 grants will be awarded.

Be sure to “credit” MHS when you donate!

MFEE is our town’s local education fund that supports ALL Montclair students, teachers, staff and caregivers. They benefit from MFEE’s inclusive programming, professional development, and educational resources. Check out some highlights from this year’s grants on our blog.
