MHS AUDITORIUM RENOVATION STAKEHOLDER MEETING TONIGHT!

You are invited to a community stakeholder meeting tonight, March 18, at 7:00pm in LGI at MHS to receive an update on the MHS Auditorium renovation. Representatives from Legacy Construction Management and Parette Somjen Architects will present the latest developments and provide information about the project.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the proposed renovation and ask any questions you may have. Please help us spread the word to other members of our community who may be interested in attending. We look forward to your participation and engagement in this important project.

CLASS OF 2027 FUNDRAISER / PLAYA BOWLS
The Class of 2027 are hosting Dine & Donate fundraisers at PLAYA BOWLS, 28 S Park St, Montclair on Wednesday, March 19 from 3:00 – 7:00pm.
Show the attached flyer (below) when you go to Playa Bowls for 10% of your purchase to be donated to help fundraise for the class junior proms!

GET YOUR TICKETS / MHS PARENTS NIGHT OUT AT PORTA! FUNDRAISER

 

The Montclair High School PTA invites you to Parents Night Out at Porta! fundraiser on Friday, March 28, from 7:00 – 10:00pm. We will start the night with karaoke and end with an ultimate dance party!

This fun and festive fundraising event will help support MHS PTA’s important work and initiatives aimed at enriching our school community. We have set a $10,000 fundraising goal to support campus beautification and MHS Social Events, creation of Mountie Radio, and a refresh of the Teachers’ lounge.

Purchase your tickets via Zeffy for $75/person. If you cannot join us on March 28, you can also make a donation via Zeffy to help us reach our $10,000 goal.

We are also seeking silent auction in-kind donations and/or sponsorship from our community and local businesses!

For the online silent auction, we are looking for fun activities and experiences or parents and our high schoolers! Do you have tickets to a sports event, Broadway show, or a private, behind the scenes tour of a local business or facility? Or do you (or one of your family members or friend) have special talent or skill you can offer as your donation experience to teach someone for a special experience auction item, such as cooking, photography, design, babysitting, dance, pet sitting, organization, etc.? By contributing, you’re not just donating to a this cause—you’re investing in the future of ALL of Montclair’s students. MHS TEAM/CLUB FUNDRAISERS!

• MHS Softball Team is hosting a fundraiser at Chipotle, 235 Prospect Ave, West Orange, NJ 07052 on Tuesday, March 18, 5:00pm-9:00pm. Present the flyer (see below) or show it on your phone and MHS Softball will receive 25% back on your purchase. Order ahead and use code 8N7DMGQ to participate in the fundraiser.
• Support the MHS Golf Team by program by purchasing some gear! Their store is open until March 23 @ 11:59 PM EDT.
• MHS Band/Chamber Ensemble & Concert Band are fundraising to raise $40,000 to replace broken instruments that are over 40-60 year old. Please make your donation via Venmo (@mhsinstrumental).
• Montclair has a talented, energetic group of 35 young musicians who are taking the Mighty Mounties Marching Band back to the field! These students are working hard at practice and performances multiple days per week, but they need new uniforms, instruments, instrument repair, field equipment, and music. Help the Mighty Mounties Marching Band build community and make music. Donate today!
