PARENTS NIGHT OUT FUNDRAISER /
TICKET SALES EXTENDED!

There are still a few tickets left for MHS PTA’s Parents Night Out at Porta! fundraiser on Friday, March 28, from 7:00 – 10:00pm. Tickets will be on sale until Friday at 12pm. Join us for a fantastic evening of dancing, karaoke, Porta’s famous pizza, and drinks! Tickets are $75/person.

Can’t join us on Friday? We understand. Life is super busy and crazy right now, but what is easy? Making a donation to MHS PTA via Zeffy. Just use the “Add a donation for Montclair High School PTA” option – only take 5 minutes and done! Any amount donated will help move closer to reaching our goal of $10,000 goal. We thank you for your ongoing support!

NOMINATE A TEACHER/COUNSELOR FOR A WESTON AWARD!

The Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence is calling for nominations for the 2025 Judy Weston Awards for Inspired Teaching! The awards, now administered by MFEE, were established by Josh and Judy Weston in 1991 to acknowledge and celebrate Montclair Public Schools teachers. Last year, MFEE received more than 300 nominations, and 16 teachers won $2,000 each. New this year: An Inspired Counseling Award.

All parents/guardians of current Montclair Public Schools students and current MPS students are encouraged to nominate teachers or a counselor. Nominations can be written or submitted as an audio or video recording. Students can also submit photos of their written nomination. The deadline for nominations has been extended until Friday, April 4, at midnight.

MHS CLUB & TEAM ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Support the MHS Golf Team by program by purchasing some gear! Their store is open until March 23 @ 11:59 PM EDT.
• The Creative Writing Club encourages all MHS writers and poets to enter its annual creative writing contest. Entries are due by Friday, April 11.

   

• MHS Band/Chamber Ensemble & Concert Band are fundraising to raise $40,000 to replace broken instruments that are over 40-60 year old. Please make your donation via Venmo (@mhsinstrumental).
• Montclair has a talented, energetic group of 35 young musicians who are taking the Mighty Mounties Marching Band back to the field! These students are working hard at practice and performances multiple days per week, but they need new uniforms, instruments, instrument repair, field equipment, and music. Help the Mighty Mounties Marching Band build community and make music. Donate today!
