SUPPORT MHS “FAMILY FEUD” TEAMS

The Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE) is hosting a super fun party with a game show twist: Family Feud!  On May 15th, “families” from across Montclair will be duking it out to earn bragging rights and raise critical funds to support Montclair students, teachers and families.

MHS has two powerful teams entering the completion, and they need your help to bring the heat! Donate to the Mountie Fab 5 and the Preamble Posse today!

MHS PTA 2025-26 / CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The MHS PTA has the following positions open for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. If you are interested in volunteering for one of these positions, please fill out this short interest form by May 14. If you have any questions, please email info@mhs-pta.org.

  • Treasurer (2 year term)
  • Vice President, Class of 2026 (1 year term)
  • Vice President, Class of 2027 (2 year term)
  • Vice President, Class of 2028 (2 year term)
  • Vice President, Class of 2029 (2 year term)

The PTA Treasurer responsibilities include retaining custody of all funds of this Local PTA, developing/maintaining an annual budget, keeping an accurate record of receipts and expenditures and paying all debts of this Local PTA following the approved budget as authorized by this Local PTA.

The grade level Vice President (VP) responsibilities include serving the respective grade in addition to performing such other duties as determined by the board. VPs are expected to partner with class advisors and Student Coalition to plan and execute events throughout the school year. They are also responsible for sharing grade level communications.

SVPA PRESENTS MAMMA MIA!

Come sing along with SVPA ‘s spring production of Mamma Mia! Mamma Mia! will run for two weekends, May 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th at 7:00pm, and on May 11th at 3pm in the Little Theater. Tickets are on sale now – get yours before they are sold out!

This performance will showcase the amazing work of our student designers, technicians, musicians and performers. The show promises to be a fun-filled musical experience for everyone – from ABBA fans to those who love a heartwarming story and a night out with friends!

MHS CLUB & TEAM ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Girls Soccer Team Merchandise Store is open until MAY 11 at 11:59pm!

  • Best Buddies Store is open until Monday, MAY 12. Support the club by purchasing spiritwear or make a donation towards the 2025-26 school year.

  • MHS Band/Chamber Ensemble & Concert Band are fundraising to raise $40,000 to replace broken instruments that are over 40-60 year old. Please make your donation via Venmo (@mhsinstrumental).
  • Montclair has a talented, energetic group of 35 young musicians who are taking the Mighty Mounties Marching Band back to the field! These students are working hard at practice and performances multiple days per week, but they need new uniforms, instruments, instrument repair, field equipment, and music. Help the Mighty Mounties Marching Band build community and make music. Donate today!
