On July 13, 2022, the Montclair Board of Education updated the 2022-23 school year calendar and made the following notable adjustments:

• First Day of School is now Tuesday, September 6 instead of Wednesday, September 7.
• School is closed on Monday, October 24 for Diwali.
• Spring Break is now April 3-7 instead of April 10-14, 2023.
• School will be open on Friday, May 26 instead of being closed for Memorial Day weekend.
• Last day of school is Thursday, June 22 (a half day) instead of the last day on Tuesday, June 27.
