It’s Sunday again, which means we’re back at it. Read through the below to catch what’s next at Northeast and make sure you have it all penned in.

We hope to see you all at Back To School Night this Tuesday at 6 pm.

A reminder, too, that tomorrow begins Northeast’s Week of Respect:

• Monday: Be Comfy With Who You Are. Wear PJs, sweats, cozy clothing.
• Tuesday: Let’s Spread Peace & Love. Wear tie-dye, peace signs, hearts.
• Wednesday: We Honor Our Differences. Wear mismatched clothing.
• Thursday: Keep The World Bright. K – red; 1st – orange; 2nd – yellow; 3rd – green; 4th – blue; 5th – purple.
• Friday: We Are In This Together. Wear school spirit gear or school colors.

You can order your spiritwear now & pick it up at Back To School Night. Just make sure to order by tomorrow night and come a little early on Tuesday to grab it. We do have limited or no quantities in some sizes, and know it’s been a struggle for some of you. We’re working to update spiritwear offerings and quantities asap!

Right now you can buy any sweatshirt and get any pair of sweatpants for free (feel free to mix sizes, colors, adult/youth). After you order your sweatshirt, email Carla and she’ll help you with your free pair of sweatpants: carla.y.buchanan@gmail.com.

Check out the line up of After School Enrichment (ASE) classes being offered this fall by clicking the below link. Tomorrow starting at 10 am you’ll be able register for classes via the same link. ASE begins October 15. Our classes will be taught by Northeast’s very own teachers and talented parents!

And we’re back! Fingers crossed this time nothing rains on our shine. Remember you can opt for a standard wash or get the VIP treatment with a wash + wax. All proceeds benefit the 5th grade graduation.

Join the Northeast community on Saturday, November 2 as we celebrate harvest festivals from around the world, including Festa Junina, Eid, Chuseok, Diwali, and Oktoberfest. Experience music from all corners of the globe, dancing, arts & crafts, cultural performances, carnival games with prizes, and a tasty array of international dishes and treats. Tickets are $10/person or $40/family.

• Celebrate with a book! The PTA is proud to partner with Watchung Booksellers to gift a book to every Northeast student during their birthday month. If your child has a birthday this month, email their name, homeroom teacher, and grade to northeastPTAmontclair@gmail.com. We’ll respond with a gift certificate and details on how to get your book.

• Hop on the Bike Bus every Friday! Bike Bus is a weekly group bike ride to all the Montclair elementary schools. Bike Bus happens Friday mornings and aims to make it joyful, fun, and safe to bike to school together.
