On Read Across America Day, we will kick-off our Read-A-Thon. This is a great way to get kids hooked on reading, engage in some friendly competition between classes, and win prizes, all while raising funds for Watchung School PTA! Watchung students will see how many minutes they can read–or be read to!–from March 2-23rd, and collect pledges to support their efforts.
Submit the reading logs and get your pledges in by sharing your child’s individual page on this MemberHub Link .
Watchung Free Read-A-Thon Library –We’re thrilled with the response of kids taking books home! Students can return, or keep the books. If they return it, we have a bin set up outside the N. Fullerton Street door that will be checked daily to restock the library.

Donate your elementary school-aged books to help us create a Watchung Read-A-Thon Free Library! These books will be available for students to grab while walking through the front hallway, take home to read to boost their Read-A-Thon minutes, and return (if they like) for others to also enjoy.
A bin is located outside the N. Fullerton Street entrance (featured in 2nd picture). The bin has signs for K-2 and 3-5 to help with the sorting. Drop your books by Wednesday March 1st morning to give us time to sort for the March 2nd Read-A-Thon kickoff.
Thanks to Victoria Lloyd for helping to make this Watchung Free Library happen!
***While we love a good preschool board book, we are not collecting them at this time***
