Snow Days are Back and We Started with Rain!
This week we experienced a Nor’easter and out of an abundance of caution, I made the decision to close schools. Hopefully this storm was not a precursor to a difficult winter season; however, we will have to deal with inevitable snow/inclement weather days ahead.
I believe it is essential that students, families and staff experience a traditional, carefree, “snow day” free from schoolwork and with an opportunity for outdoor play and cleanup.
Since we had three snow days built into our calendar, we already used one this week.
Please take a moment to review the notification procedures for school closings as well as delayed openings.
Don’t forget, bundle up and send me pictures of your best snowmen, snow angels or other snow creations on a snow day! I would love to feature them on our website.
