- Communications Committee Goals
- Update and publicize the District Guide. Expand sections on the facilities plan.
- Collaborate with the district in improving the communication process for the district. Make suggestions for improvements based on parent feedback and help with implementation as appropriate. Research and share best email/communication practices.
- Collaborate with PTAs and their principals, house leaders and teachers in improving (and standardizing) communications. Share best practices, models and templates. Standardize use of Google Classroom and increase parent/guardian access.
- Explore ways to increase effective use of social media by schools and PTAs, including Facebook (parents), Twitter, and Instagram (students).
- Increase awareness of PTAC as a way to increase involvement of stakeholders.
