COVID Guidelines Reminder from Nurse Alfaro: Members of our Edgemont Community continue to test positive for COVID-19. As a reminder, Montclair Public Schools remain aligned with the NJ Department of Health and the CDC’s Isolation and Exposure guidelines:

• The day a student tests positive is “day zero”. If symptoms start after testing positive, that day becomes “day zero.” Students must stay home and isolate for days zero (0) through five (5). To return, a student must be fever-free for 24 hours without Tylenol/Motrin and with symptoms resolving. A student can not test out of the five day isolation.
• A student must return to school masked for days six (6) through ten (10). A student can test out of masking if they test negative for two days in a row, 24-hours apart on day six and seven or later.
